HTE adopts direct sales model in UK

Home Theatre Environment (HTE), a manufacturer of Acoustic Interior Design room fit out systems, has announced it will now be operating a direct sales model in the UK, ending its distribution partnership with CAVD.

This decision was driven by a number of factors, including the strong relationships HTE’s partner, Peter Aylett (pictured), has with the industry, particularly in the UK where he is based. He will be supporting dealers and their projects locally.

The direct sales model also reflects the company’s ethic of working closely with its dealers and their customers during the discovery, design, specification, build and delivery phases, and this move allows HTE to be even closer and more efficient in communications and support.

The HTE system plays well with any integrator supplied technical package and is not aligned with any other manufacturers or distributors of AV equipment. The direct model emphasises HTE’s ability to allow integrators to optimise the performance of any technical package they supply, install and commission.

A new showroom, design and demonstration facility has also been announced to open near London later this year which will allow dealers, their clients and design professionals to experience Acoustic Interior Design.

Further to this, the company will be building outreach programmes for the design community that allows HTE dealers to develop new relationships and partners with interior designers and architects to show that their visions can be achieved while delivering the audio performance required.

Adding to that, Peter Aylett commented: “As the UK comes out of lockdown, I’m looking forward to meeting industry friends old and new to discuss how HTE could become an integral part of integrators’ business models for delivering profitable entertainment spaces that do not have to compromise on either interior design or acoustics.”
