Barco Residential has announced the launch of two LED walls for luxury cinema at CEDIA Expo 2025.
The company showcases the Runar and TruePix Bifrost TP-I at the show in Denver, alongside its projector platform Heimdall offering ultra-quiet, RGB laser-powered projection.
While Runar is the first LED wall offering DCI-certified HDR performance in the residential market, the TruePix Bifrost TP-I delivers brightness and energy efficiency for high-ambient-light spaces.
Mehmet Kaya, vice president of Barco Residential, said: “Barco Residential is uniquely positioned as the only company bridging both worlds: DCI-certified HDR LED with cinema-grade credibility, and residential-tuned products such as TruePix.”
Runar is scheduled for DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) certification under the latest HDR, offering a 0.9mm pixel pitch and native DCI 4K resolution (4,096 x 2,160).
Scheduled to ship in mid-2026, Runar features Micro LED in Package (MIP) technology and is engineered with premium DCI-HDR content – not to mention 100,000:1 contrast, ultra-deep 0.005 cd/m2 black level and full DCI-P3 coverage.
The new TruePix Bifrost DV-LED wall, TP0.9-I, will also showcase its unique Flip Chip technology at the show – a route to more robust, energy efficient and improved black levels for contrast.
TruePix Bifrost TP0.9-I positions itself as a DV-LED solution for brighter rooms and applications with higher ambient light; it offers 0.9 mm pixel pitch for high resolution and more than 1,800 nit brightness (and in peak brightness over 2,300 nit).
This demo will also feature a new speaker frame from Leon.
