It’s been announced that eight companies will team up to present a luxury home cinema at the upcoming CEDIA Expo 2025.
Visitors can experience a 14.18.10 demo totalling the value of $1m at the exhibition on September 3-6.
Contributing to the installation are Seymour-Screen Excellence, StormAudio, ASCENDO, Christie, madVR Labs, Panamorph, Moovia and Simplified Acoustics.
Geoffrey Heinzel, owner of ASCENDO, said: “We will demonstrate the new 64-inch infrasonic subwoofer model for the first time at the Expo, two of them in fact.
“We’ll also debut HALO, our new speaker system, to demonstrate the unique advantages of professional-grade coaxial designs, delivering consistent timing and response symmetry to each of the 12 luxury Moovia seats.”
In collaboration with ASCENDO, StormAudio will showcase its Elite 32 Digital AoIP processor to manage system processing and calibration with tools including Dirac Live’s Active Room Treatment.
The installation will also feature the only retractable film screen on the market incorporating velvet borders, concealed tab tensioning and no minimum required seating distance.
On the visual side, the new Christie Eclipse G3 projector will combine next-generation 6DLP technology with 30,000 ANSI lumens and colour reaching approximately 98% of the Rec. 2020 colour space.
Video processing will be managed by the madVR Envy Extreme 8, offering a combination of HDR tone mapping, 8K AI upscaling, instant aspect ratio handling, direct control of screen masking and MotionAI.
Meanwhile, Panamorph will add its new flagship Alpha Pro anamorphic lens to the installation for enhanced brightness and detail.
Shawn Kelly, Panamorph’s CEO, said: “We’ve been getting a lot of dealer interest in a lens specifically made for ultra-high-end installations.
“And that combined with dramatically increasing client interest in the cinema format is helping projection dealers differentiate against increasing 16:9 flat panel sizes while preserving excellent margins.”
Simplified Acoustics will manage room acoustics via its new BDP acoustic panel.
