Industry veteran joins Nice/Nortek Control as EMEA sales manager

Nice/Nortek Control has appointed 20-year industry veteran, Phil Hardaway as its sales manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Hardaway joins the company from Snap One where he has been working for the last seven years. Before Snap One, he worked primarily with Savant Systems Europe at a European AV distributor. Across his career, Hardaway has spent more than two decades in the smart home, AV and custom installation industry.

In his new role with Nice/Nortek Control, he will lead and represent international sales in the EU while supporting the distribution network through EMEA.

Well-prepared for his new position, Hardaway has gained a lot of experience in a variety of different roles over the last 20 years, including sales management, export sales, business development, account management, marketing, and technical support.

His interest in home technology stemmed from when he was a child looking up to his dad who has a similar career. He has since worked with many manufacturers and specialist distributors and has enjoyed being a part of how home technology has grown and evolved over the years. One of Hardaway’s career highlights has been personally selling British Olympic track star, Iwan Thomas, his very own professionally installed smart home system.
