Luxul networking solutions lineup released for ISC West 2019

Luxul has announced it will be sharing a booth at ISC West with parent company, Legrand | AV, and will be showing its PoE Self-Healing, managed Gigabit switches; the award-winning routers with integrated Domotz remote management technology; the new next-generation wireless controller; “Good, Better, Best” dual-band wireless access points (APs); and the new Easy Setup App.

ISC West is a security show in the US, taking place April 10-12. Keith Ebert, director of channel sales at Legrand | AV – Luxul, said: “Today’s security solutions are only as good as the networks they are built on, so integrators can’t afford anything less than exceptional performance from all components – from switches to wireless APs. For our lineup at ISC West, meeting this requirement is only the beginning. Visitors to our booth will see advanced features that dramatically simplify installations, lower costs, and deliver the ultimate customer experience, all while laying the groundwork for RMR programmes to increase revenue.”

Visitors to the show will see Luxul-managed Gigabit switches featuring Self-Healing capabilities. These switches include the 18-port/16 PoE+ L2/L3 AMS-1816P and 12-port/8 PoE+ XMS-1208P. The units have an Auto-Recovery feature, meaning that devices connected to the switches by PoE no longer need to be manually rebooted when they fall offline or become unresponsive because the configuration in the switch triggers them to reboot automatically. Another feature is the Power Scheduling where integrators can trigger the switches to power PoE-connected devices on or off based on any schedule they create within the switch.

Luxul_GearShotAlso on display will be some of Luxul’s routers including the Epic Series, consisting of dual-band wireless AC3100 Epic 3, wired multi-WAN Epic 4, and wired dual-WAN Epic 5. The routers also have Domotz technology, alerting security integrators when network issues arise meaning they can take immediate action to solve issues. It also shares device information with Luxul’s support team for simple and easy troubleshooting.

The next-generation XWC-2000 wireless controller will also be shown at ISC West. The controller delivers twice the capacity of the last generation wireless controller and support up to 32 APs.

Luxul will also highlight a “Good, Better, and Best” offering of wireless Apex APs for security systems, reflecting different price points, network sizes and abilities.

Lastly, Luxul will be demonstrating its new Easy Setup App, which allows integrators to install a Luxul wireless router and up to two wireless APs at the same time from the convenience of a mobile phone.

Luxul and Legrand | AV can be found at booth 29098, and there will be the opportunity to experience Legrand | AV’s other residential solutions from Chief, Middle Atlantic, Nuvo, On-Q and SANUS.
