Modus VR has announced Modus-as-a-Service (MaaS) which will be launched at CEDIA Expo 2022 to the residential custom installation community, allowing residential integrator, manufacturers and consultants seeking to harness the full functionality, speed and power of Modus VR design software to use it on a convenient per-project basis from anywhere.
Demonstrating the new service on booth #10027 at CEDIA Expo, integrators and teams can now enlist the Modus VR platform and specialists to host live meeting anywhere, anytime, without any hardware investment. The Modus VR team provides turnkey, real-time, immersive VR design work and will output all accompanying project deliverables per dealer and client requests.
“The magic of our new Modus-as-a-Service offering lies in the ability for our integrators and their customers to focus on their creativity and solving problems, while we do the design work alongside them in our powerful 3D environment,” said Ken Brueck, co-founder of Modus VR. “This new option means integrators don’t have to invest in any VR hardware to gain all the benefits Modus VR is known for. They simply set up hosted meetings with us whenever it works for them. Integrators can typically reduce weeks of back and forth into a single, highly engaging session that gets that immediate ‘yes’ from clients.”
MaaS specialists will host or join client meetings via video conference software, such as Zoom. The Modus VR team designs the space to the satisfaction of all attendant stakeholders, responding to their ideas and collaboration, in the Modus environment.
Attendees experience the real-time ability to look about their entire space, make immediate, informed decision, and arrive at the best solution for their project, while the Modus VR team does the design.
Integrators, clients, and trade partners are free to focus on aspects of their project such as display and gold simulator sizes, speaker and subwoofer placement, in-wall, smart home keypads and touchscreen placement, furniture and other room elements.
Straight after the meeting, Modus VR will provide all project deliverables, such as a web link to a full, 360-degree view of the designed space, Modus Docs and the space or room design file, Bill of Materials, and 3D renders from any angle in the space.
“With Modus VR solutions and our new MaaS, gone are days of endless meetings, outdated paper plans, and waiting for weeks to complete residential layout designs,” added Brueck. “Typically one live MaaS session will result in a much shorter sales cycle, faster alignment on complex projects, better technology solutions, and perhaps most importantly, more enthusiastic, happier clients.”
MaaS is available now and will be shown at CEDIA Expo from 29 September until 1 October.
