Orange France has launched a new offer on the consumer market. Homelive is a smart-home convenience which allow to put the home at the customer fingertips when he’s out. Homelive automation package is an unparalleled solution that links home electrical devices and allows the user to manage all appliances remotely via his smartphone or his computer. The pack includes a central unit and 3 devices from Fibaro system – a smoke sensor, a door/window sensor and a motion sensor. Orange sells additional Fibaro sensors among them a flood sensor and a wall plug.
The Homelive allows the user to adjust the settings and to control remotely all connected home appliances from any place, via computer or smartphone. It can be easily adjusted to individual preferences and offers many useful functionalities. Using sensors, the system identifies threats within seconds, warns the user of the danger and activates all the pre-programmed alarm procedures.
The Homelive pack includes intelligent sensors and other devices from Orange partners. Motion sensor, door/window sensor, smoke sensor and wall&plug were provided by Fibar Group – European manufacturer of smart home systems. All devices are compatible with Z-Wave protocol and can be controlled remotely with the Homelive mobile app or control platform developed by Mios.

The first Homelive pack is sold in 1200 Orange stores and Orange.fr online shop for 79 Euros with a special cash back offer of 78 euros– offer is valid for all new Homelive customers. To enjoy the features of the Homelive solution, the user have to pay only 9.99 euros per month with a 12-month commitment. The subscription includes unlimited SMS alerts, continuity of service monitoring and alerts in case of internet failure (subject to Orange mobile coverage), dedicated technical support and storage of video and data for a month. The offer is not restricted to Orange customers.
