The Registered Digital Institute today announced a new partnership with HiddenWires, and to celebrate we’re offering readers 20% off their annual membership. The Registered Digital Institute, one of the leading trade organisations for the digital sector, represents member companies across a wide digital spectrum, where traditional signal reception and electronic servicing skills form part of an increasingly broader picture, including, custom install, energy provision, security and IP connectivity.
The RDI works closely with distributors and manufacturers to make members aware of new products that come onto the market and produce reviews and kit evaluations. In 2014 we will be putting more emphasis on products relevant to systems integration, signal distribution and the connected home, providing a solution for our members to ensure that they have the right product for the right job. The RDI believes that learning and development for its members is essential and promotes a digital pathway for learners who want to learn more about the Connected Home principles and gain accreditation. This pathway comprises the C&G Digital Home Technology Integrator qualification, delivered through FE Colleges. ELearning is also a significant part of the development of RDI members and our portfolio of courses is planned to expand in 2014 to cover important areas of the Connected Home. We always welcome input from distributors and manufacturers to ensure that learning is effective and relevant; with support from manufacturers, we plan to have bespoke eLearning modules that are manufacturer specific for our members in 2014 that they will find very useful for signal distribution and for integrated systems installation.
