RGB Adds Invixium to IoT Division

AV distributor RGB Communications has added Invixium biometric fingerprint readers to its Internet of Things division.

RGB has secured exclusive distribution of Invixium biometric fingerprint readers for use with automated door entry systems to the UK and European AV market.

“Being among the first UK AV distributors to sell Biometric fingerprint readers, fits perfectly with the RGB ethos which has always been to be at the forefront of smart home technology. Invixium gives our dealers a fantastic opportunity to add more value, increase customer convenience and satisfaction by offering ‘smarter’ installs."

RGB first became familiar with Invixium during CEDIA Expo 2015, noting that the company was the ‘Apple of the Biometric industry'.Through smart integration with leading home automation controllers, Invixium biometric products eliminate the need for keys, cards, or PINs for convenient and secure access with the added benefit of automatic personalised environment or AV control. Control systems can now be programmed to trigger the actions of any connected device with just a simple touch of a finger.

Due to wiring and programming requirements, Invixium products require professional installation and are not suitable for DIY projects, making them ideal for the CI market to add biometric enhancements to their offerings and to differentiate themselves from other installers.
