Home automation specialist, Savant has teamed up with its network of integrators to donate $50,000 to support the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
The money has been raised through the sale of its new Pro Remote X2 in Rose Gold and Jet Black premium finishes, which were launched in July, committing a portion of all 2020 proceeds to support relief efforts.
Savant’s president, JC Murphy said: “I want to recognise those integrators that participated in this critical initiative, helping to support communities all over the world and simply say thank you. Because of their support, Savant will be donating $50,000 to the United Nations Foundation this holiday season.”
The donation goes towards the WHO’s efforts, along with key partners, to track and better understand how the Covid-19 virus spreads, ensuring that patients around the world get the care they need, and frontline workers receive essential supplies and data.
