SnapAV rebrand sees name change to Snap One

SnapAV has today announced that it has undergone a rebrand and the company is now known as Snap One as a reflection of the company’s goal to provide a one-stop-source of whole solutions, services and platforms to integrators whose businesses have grown beyond AV products.

CEO, John Heyman explained: “The name ‘SnapAV’ no longer fully represents who we are or our aspirations for the future. We kept the name ‘Snap’ because of our ongoing mission to make our partners’ lives easier. Snap One builds upon this legacy and reinforces our aspiration to be the integrator’s most valued and most trusted partner. We want to be the one place with the broadest portfolio of best-in-class products; the one shopping experience that can be done online or in-store; and the one partner that professionals can depend on when installing and supporting the amazing experiences that their customers desire.”

The new name is designed to better reflect the company and embrace its aspirations. It also represents a more unified company following the merger with Control4 in 2019. “The name Snap One emphasizes our desire to be the one-stop-source for the solutions that integrators need – including control – whether it’s with our own solutions or third-party products,” Heyman added.

Integrators will now have access to more solutions and products from a unified set of brands. It will also see more of a presence from Snap One and its brands in the EMEA region later this year.

A unified portal will be launched by Snap One later this year for integrators to research, quote and purchase any products from a single location. A streamlined loyalty programme will also be announced.

The unified company message has come at an important time as the company has recently made a number of corporate developments, including the acquisition of networking provider Access Networks and a significant investment in remote support solutions provider, Parasol.

Snap One’s mission is to design, manufacture and distribute smart solutions for both homes and businesses to make lives more enjoyable, connected and secure. With over 4,300 proprietary SKUs in its product platform, the company covers entertainment, connectivity, and infrastructure, as well as two software platforms – Control4 OS3 and OvrC – that provide broad interoperability with thousands of third-party products from hundreds of vendors.

Giving its partners a platform to shop online and in 27 stores, Snap One was founded in 2005 to provide value-added tools, training, and support that drive business efficiencies that enable integrators to be more successful.

Heyman concluded: “Snap One represents our central mission and reminds current and future customers that we strive to be the one company in the industry that can provide a range of solutions, services and options in a snap.”
