Sound United has announced the acquisition of Canada-based hi-fi specialist Classé Audio from Bowers and Wilkins.
Parent company to the likes of Denon, Marantz and Polk Audio, Sound United has just recruited Montreal-based Classé Audio to its ever-growing home cinema and audio portfolio.
Sound United, portfolio company of Boston-based private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners, purchases Classé Audio from Bowers & Wilkins, who both owned and distributed its products, for an undisclosed fee.
