Bang & Olufsen unveils 48-in Beovision Contour

Bang & Olufsen has expanded its portfolio of TVs with the launch of 48-in Beovision Contour, as well as unveiling updates to the Beovision Eclipse-55 2nd Generation and the addition of Beovision Harmony Motorised Floor Stand.

An all-in-one unit, the 48-in Beovision Contour is comprised of an integrated three-channel sound system based on the award-winning Beosound Stage, combined with the latest generation OLED TV technology from LG Electronics.

Now offering a range of TVs available in 48-in to 88-in screen sizes, the launch opens the market to those who want a high-end experience but perhaps do not have enough space in their home to cater for such a large screen.

Aiming to be aesthetically pleasing in any room of the home, Beovision Contour has been designed to conceal unnecessary clutter whilst revealing timeless design elements and natural materials. It is available in Silver, Black Anthracite, and a Gold Tone, with matching fabric or wood veneer finishes for the speaker front cover. The wood veneer is available in Light Oak or Smoked Oak to match the colour option for the aluminium frame.

There are three integrated stand options for the Beovision Contour. The aluminium floor stand can be manually turned 180-degrees either way to ensure the best viewing angle for users. Otherwise, users have the option of mounting the TV to the wall using a cleverly engineered wall bracket that allows movement to angle the TV to suit the viewing arrangement. Lastly, Bang & Olufsen has also created a tabletop stand made from a solid, rectangular aluminium billet to allow the TV to be placed on a shelf or floor.

The integrated speaker system includes four 4-in bass drivers custom designed with focus on allowing bigger cone movement to provide an improved bass performance down to 30 Hz.

Beovision Eclipse 2nd Generation
Updates to Bang & Olufsen’s Beovision Eclipse has also been unveiled. This second generation has been updated to include the latest LG OLED GX screen technology and a sound-centre upgrade to cater for the new screen.

The Beovision Eclipse 2nd Generation features an integrated powerful three-channel stereo setup, and the company has made it possible to connect wired and wirelessly to additional Beolab speakers via the integrated surround sound decoder to enable a 7.1 channel immersive cinematic experience.

The addition of a motorised floor stand or motorised wall bracket now allows users to adjust the TV to cater to their viewing position with the push of a button.

Beovision Harmony Floor Stand
Band & Olufsen has unveiled a new motorised floor stand for the Beovision Harmony, available in Silver, Brass Tone, Bronze Tone, or Gold Tone to match the aluminium covers.
