HIGH END postponed until May 2022

With ongoing restrictions and impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the HIGH END 2021 trade show has been moved from September 2021 to May 2022.

The decision was made by organisers, HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH, after a reassessment of the current situation and the likelihood of a big live event taking place as normal.

Postponing this year’s show means it will return to its usual slot in the calendar and will be held at the MOC Event Centre in Munich as normal from 19 to 22 May 2022.

Just over a month ago, show organisers announced that the HIGH END event was already fully booked for this year and were confident that the show would go ahead having carefully developed a detailed hygiene and infection protection concept. However, organisers believe that the current situation required a reassessment of the situation and early action.

“We have prepared for the event extremely well and were confident that the HIGH END and the new IPS would be able to take place this autumn despite the changing conditions,” said Stefan Dreischärf, managing director of HIGH END SOCIERT Service GmbH. “That said, we have to adopt a far-sighted approach to maintain the trust of our exhibitors. Given the slow development on a global scale, we believe that the current situation is too uncertain. The risk of having to cancel the event at short notice is simply too high.”

Organisers are now hoping HIGH END 2022 can go ahead as normal in May next year with the prospect that the current measures will have been significantly eased by next year and global travel will be possible with no limitations.
