ProjX360 adds new financial tools for AV integrators

ProjX360 has introduced an accounting module alongside other enhancements to give AV integrators tighter financial oversight across live projects.

Available immediately within the platform, Accrual Accounting functionality recognises revenue and expenses based on project progress and materials received, rather than when payments are made.

This provides clearer visibility into Work in Progress (WIP) for integrators managing multi-phase residential and commercial installs, as well as more accurate cost tracking against proposals and change orders.

According to ProjX360 founder and CEO Doug Greenwald, the move addresses obscured profitability for businesses relying solely on cash accounting.

Greenwald said: “Cash-based accounting doesn’t tell the full story.

“With accrual accounting inside ProjX360, our clients finally see the true financial health of every project as it progresses.”

Additionally, the platform’s expanded QuickBooks Online integration ensures accrual-based invoices sync correctly, facilitating revenue and expense mapping alongside cleaner reconciliation of payments.

The enhancements aim to both reduce duplicate data entry and align operational project data with accounting systems.

“Our goal was not just to sync invoices,” Greenwald added. “We wanted to bridge the gap between field operations and accounting, so owners and CFOs can trust their numbers.”

Meanwhile, direct Stripe Merchant Processing integration helps improve cash flow with embedded credit card and ACH payments, automatic reconciliation and faster invoice collection.
