XGIMI wins second EISA Award

XGIMI has announced that its AURA 4K Laser Projector has won an EISA Award for the best product in the ultra-short-throw projector category.

It’s the second time that XGIMI has won the prestigious award, with the HORIZON Pro taking the accolade last year as a Best Buy Projector.

A panel of industry-leading judges applauded AURA’s elegant design, which is crafted with a 2-degree blended top, adding a sense of luxury to a home cinema space.

According to the company, the winning element for the judges was AURA’s image quality. Equipped with advance UST technology, AURA delivers a high-quality display on a large scale. Placed just 11” from any wall, the bright 2,400 ANSI lumens delivers a 4K UHD projection up to 10ft with vivid colours and crisp image.

Another feature that was a hit with the EISA panel of judges was the sound experience. Developed in collaboration with Harmon Kardon, the AURA delivers crisp highs, dynamic midranges, and ample bass for an immersive experience.

AURA’s smart features were another bonus for the judges. Users can take advantage of easy access to content thanks to slick integration with Android TV, Google Assistant, and Chromecast. AURA also features over 5,000 apps such as Disney+, HBO Max and YouTube through wireless casting, simple voice control, or the Android TV interface. Furthermore, 8-point keystone correction allows users to adjust the picture size and quality to their liking.

The EISA judges acclaimed AURA as being a deserving winner, saying that “with an eye-catching curved-top design and wallet-friendly price, XGIMI’s AURA has serious kerb appeal even before you see it in action. Yet it’s this ultra-short-throw projector’s picture performance that seals the deal, marked by a brightness output – from a laser light source – that makes it an excellent model for daytime viewing, and an enthralling experience with HDR content. Black depth and 4K image sharpness also impress, as does the detailed, punchy sound from the AURA’s in-built Harman Kardon speaker system. Smart features, provided by the Android OS, include video-on-demand apps and screen mirroring, ensuring this high-performance UST projector lives up to its home entertainment promise.”
