ADI expands Episode audio lineup with Ryff-enabled streaming preamp

ADI has launched the Episode Ryff-enabled 4-Zone Streaming Preamp, a product aimed at integrators looking to deliver multiroom audio without deploying a full control platform.

Available now, the Episode EA-STREAM-PRE-4 is the first Episode product to run the Ryff streaming platform natively.

It supports up to four independent audio streams from a 1U rack-mountable chassis, operating as a standalone streaming solution or within an integrated Control4 ecosystem.

The platform supports 192kHz audio streaming and interoperability with AirPlay 2, MoIP and OvrC, while the Ryff app enables setup and control without requiring brand-specific authorisation.

Integrators can also combine multiple units to scale systems for larger residential projects or light commercial environments.

ADI says the launch reflects growing market demand for cost-effective, high-resolution distributed audio systems that avoid multiple single-zone components.

The preamp extends the native Control4 listening experience for Certified Dealers, while also creating opportunities for standalone audio projects that may later expand into wider automation deployments.

The preamp requires external amplification and is designed to pair with Episode amplifier ranges including Dynamic Amplifier, Response Series DSP Amplifier and MoIP Amplifier models.
