New smart home audio brand Dorpo has introduced a multisource digital music player combining streaming, DAC, pre-amplification and headphone amplification.
Designed for high-performance residential audio, the DMP-A1 supports lossless playback up to 32-bit and DSD512, alongside formats including FLAC, WAV and MQA.
Integrated streaming services include Tidal, Spotify and Qobuz, with support for AirPlay, Roon Ready and Bluetooth connectivity.
It features the ESS ES9039SPro chip, paired with a third-generation XMOS XU316 processor to handle high-resolution audio data.
A fully balanced analogue design and dual power supply aim to improve channel separation and reduce interference.
The unit offers onboard SSD storage up to 8TB and app-based control via a customised Android interface.
With both line-level and headphone outputs, it is suited to whole-home audio and personal listening.
The DMP-A1 is scheduled to launch in the UK and Europe in early Q2 2026.
