Barco Residential debuted its Medea 4K projector, with new optical engine and laser light source, at CEDIA 2017.
It has liquid cooling, wide lens shift and built-in warp engine and offers UHD 4K images with HDR10 support. It also offers nearly instant on/off and a light source life of up to 40,000 hours.
Medea can operate in any orientation and has seven all-glass lens options. It has the same control system as Barco’s Balder and Loki projectors and supports PC- or Mac-based remote configuration and control.
CEDIA was held September 7 to 9 in San Diego, USA.
