Available in black or satin-nickel, Chime features HD video with a 5-megapixel camera for a sharp, crisp video experience, a 180-degree field view and a built-in night mode for clear visibility 24-hours a day. Homeowners are also able to have two-way communication through the device.

Ideal as a smart home interface, the new touchscreens are easy to install. They feature high-strength magnets that allows the integrator to snap the screens into place on the base in the wall.
The new family of T4 touchscreens features eight models available in black or white, 10-in and 8-in, and in-wall or tabletop versions.
Wireless Lighting Expansion
Earlier this year, SnapAV unveiled Control4 Essential Wireless Lighting to help dealers to incorporate smart lighting into more of their projects. This expansion introduces new wireless lighting models to further enhance the experience.
The new Control4 Wireless Receptacle Outlet Switch is an elegant and almost invisible way to include lamps and other plug-in devices into Control4 systems. It includes one always-on outlet, and one switched outlet for on/off control of virtually every 120V lighting load and other plug-in devices.
With nine colours and finishes to choose from, built-in Zigbee allows control through Control4 interfaces, lighting scenes and programmed events.
A new Control4 Wireless Outdoor Plug-In Outlet Switch was also announced, which is a weatherproof, plug-in switch that provides on/off control of 120V loads such as fountains, pumps and outdoor lighting.
For easy installation without the need of an electrician, it plugs into a standard 120V outlet.
Control4 OS 3 Release 3.2
New software update 3.2 has been unveiled for Control4’s OS 3, featuring various enhancements and support for new devices including the Control4 Chime Video Doorbell.
One new feature is a ‘History’ view that allows users to look back over the activity at their home from throughout the day, including who came to the door, when the doors were unlocked, when the security system was armed and more.
Release 3.2 also includes an update to the SR260 Remote, enabling it to now feature a visual volume indicator. Additionally, the Intercom Anywhere app is now part of the Control4 OS 3 mobile app for Android and iOS smartphones.
The update also adds a new AddDriver API enabling driver developers to automatically add and configure supporting drivers, simplifying integration of third-party devices and helping dealers by reducing complexity and saving time during installations.
