Crestron is set to exhibit its latest home technology and innovations at GET Nord, Northern Europe’s only trade event for the electrical engineering, sanitation, heating and air conditioning industry.
From 17 to 19 November, Crestron will showcase the latest products and features in home control and automation on stand 260 in hall B5. Here, visitors can try out its products in-situ, in a real-life living room setting.
Germany’s annual GET Nord trade event hosts over 500 national and international exhibitors presenting unique products, systems and services for the building technology sector. Across three days, visitors including architects, engineers, consultants, tradesmen and industry professionals alike can discover new opportunities for ‘tomorrow’s world’, participate in panel discussions and seek advice from industry experts.
Crestron will showcase its state-of-the-art home control products, including a demonstration of how a simple Pyng setup can be achieved. Following the announcement of its partnership with Sonos in August 2016, visitors to this year's GET Nord event can use Crestron touchscreens, keypads and remotes, to control Sonos Home Sound System with functions including play/pause, skip songs, view now playing information with artwork, and stop all Sonos zones from the touch of a button. Crestron will also be showcasing its DSP models and software tool.
All of this will be on display on the Crestron stand which has been designed to replicate a living room setting. Here, fired by Crestron’s DM-DGE-200-C graphics engine, an On Screen Display layout will provide attendees with access to TV controls, security settings including camera streams and full room control. Visitors can experience a true Crestron experience, controlling the lights, audio, video and heating and cooling for themselves via this interface.
“We are delighted to be involved in this year’s GET Nord event and to put our market-leading products in front of such a vast audience,” says Siegfried Hermann, Regional Director Crestron Germany & Austria. “In times where technology is ever increasingly being integrated into the home, it is important for those involved at each stage of home design, construction and renovation to be aware of the best technology available. Make sure to visit us on stand 260, hall B5, to speak with our experts.”
