DALI debuts the V-16 F, its most powerful subwoofer yet

DALI has launched a subwoofer that refines bass in high-end home theatre and audiophile music systems.

The V-16 F can support both large and small rooms without reducing dynamics, pitch, speed, or tonal colouration, benefiting from features like Room Attenuation mode.

According to the Danish audio brand, this is the most powerful subwoofer it’s ever launched with a combination of 1500 W Class-D amplification, well controlled roll-off and more.

Michael Munch, CI business development manager, DALI, said: "The continued success of our home cinema range has driven demand for a flagship subwoofer to meet the needs of movie and music fans that demand the very best in low-end frequency response.”

The subwoofer boasts low harmonic and non-harmonic distortion optimised both in and out of the primary frequency band, alongside extended bandwidth from driver and amplifier.

Furthermore, its 16-inch driver incorporates the largest ever Constant Surface Surround (CSS rubber surround) to deliver ±16 mm linear diaphragm travel with 70 mm peak-to-peak excursion.

Munch said DALI is pleased to contribute to high-end audio as home cinema systems become increasingly adopted across Europe.
