Future Automation updates Under Bed TV lift line

Designed to increase operating speed and functionality, Future Automation has announced a number of updates to its product offerings for the bedroom.

The changes will be rolled out across the manufacturer’s Under Bed TV Lift (UBL) and Under Bed TV Lift and Swivel (UBLS) range for cabinetry-free concealment of displays ranging from 37- to 55-ins.

The two key changes to the design of the UBL and ULBS product lines include increasing products’ opening/closing speed thanks to a new main drive motor, in addition to an increase in the maximum screen height when lifts are open following the redesign of the telescope unit.

Future Automation stresses that the changes have been achieved with “minimal impact to the overall footprint of the UBL and UBLS mechanism,” and are intended to reduce the overall operating time of the mechanisms.

“Speaking to customers we found that a few small changes to the Under Bed TV Lift range would make a big difference to the overall user experience,” commented Jack Percival, design manager at Future Automation, on feedback received requesting quicker operating speeds and greater options for screen height.

The design updates to Future Automation’s UBL and UBLS mechanism will take effect immediately and updated technical sheets and CAD files are available via the manufacturer.

Future Automation will highlight the UBLS mechanism at CEDIA 2018 at Booth 5725. This year’s event runs from 6 to 8 September, 2018 at the San Diego Convention Centre.
