Optoma has unveiled its new UHD52ALV 4K Ultra HD smart home projector, the next evolution of the popular UHD51ALVe projector.
Delivering a much brighter picture, homeowners are able to watch films, TV and sports with lights on or curtains open with the new projector.
It also adds more features than its predecessor including support for HDR and HLG, TapCast screen mirroring, voice control, HDCP 2.2 support and also includes a stereo speaker to provide powerful audio.
The integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant allows homeowners to use simple voice commands to power the projector on and off, control its volume, pause content, and more.
IFTTT support also provides seamless smart home automation with smart IoT devices and easy access to popular streaming services through the Optoma Marketplace.
An in-built 4K UHD media player, wireless functionality and PureMotion frame-interpolation technology features on the UHD52ALV to eliminate motion blur or image judder, even in high-speed action scenes in films and fast-paced sports.
For easy installation, the projector features vertical lens shift for fuss free positioning and a range of connectivity options.
Optoma’s Amazing Colour technology is built in to the projector, including an enhanced colour wheel and multiple modes and settings to choose from.
“Building on the success of the UHD51ALVe, the new UHD52ALV projector offers the ultimate convenience,” said Kishan Mistry, senior product manager at Optoma EMEA.
“Exceptional brightness for lights on viewing, 4K crystal clear detail, HDR and HLG compatibility and built-in smart home features make this a truly compelling entertainment solution.”
