Marking its 75th anniversary, Klipsch has introduced a new line up of soundbars to enhance the movie and music experience from standalone TVs.
The new Klipsch Cinema Sound Bars use the same technology and expertise that goes into its movie theatre speakers for home cinemas. Taking look and sound inspiration from the brand’s acclaimed Reference speakers, the new line of soundbars are crafted from wood and feature the same horn-loaded technology. They also come with a large, powerful subwoofer to complete the cinematic experience.
First in the new range is the Klipsch Cinema 1200 Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos, a 54” soundbar systems with a 12” wireless subwoofer and wireless Dolby Atmos certified surround speakers. The powerful 1200W system delivers a full 5.1.4 cinematic experience by bringing sound to life from all directions, including overhead, to fill the room with clarity, detail and depth (decodes 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos).
Compatible TVs are able to transmit Dolby Atmos from built-in apps thanks to the soundbar’s 8K HDR passthrough with Dolby Vision compatibility and an included HDMI-eARC connection. Its built-in universal Wi-Fi works with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Spotify Connect, allowing users to add the soundbar to existing smart home ecosystems for multiroom streaming and control. It also features two additional HDMI inputs for external devices.
The Klipsch Cinema 1200 Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos will be available in August for £1,449 / €1,499.
The Klipsch Cinema 800 Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos is a bit more compact, measuring 48” and comes with a 10” wireless subwoofer for 3.1 immersive sound (decodes 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos). Featuring 8K HDR passthrough with Dolby Vision compatibility, and next generation HDMI eARC connectivity, it can achieve true Dolby Atmos sound and ultra-high-definition video with a single HDMI cable.
The Klipsch 800 soundbar can be paired with Klipsch Surround 3 wireless speakers for 5.1 surround sound. Its built-in universal Wi-Fi works with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Spotify Connect, which also allows it to be added to existing smart home ecosystems for multiroom streaming and control. It also includes two additional HDMI inputs for external devices.
The Klipsch Cinema 800 Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos will be available in August priced at £899 / €999.
The new Klipsch Cinema 600 Sound Bar measures 45” in length and comes with a powerful 10” wireless subwoofer for an easy-to-use 3.1 sound experience. The soundbar features built-in Dolby Audio processing, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, as well as HDMI-ARC to connect to a TV using an HDMI cable. It can also be paired with Klipsch Surround 3 wireless speakers for true 5.1 surround sound.
The Klipsch Cinema 600 Sound Bar is available now for £549 / €599.
Finally, the Klipsch Cinema 400 Sound Bar is the smallest in the series measuring just 40” in length. It comes with an 8” wireless subwoofer for an easy-to-use 2.1 sound experience. The soundbar has a built-in Dolby Audio decoder, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, as well as HDMI-ARC to connect to a TV using a single HDMI cable.
The Klipsch Cinema 400 Sound Bar is available now priced at £379 / €399.
The free Klipsch Connect App works with the new Cinema soundbar line up, excluding Cinema 400, and provides product firmware updates, quick setup guide videos, one-tap support, product registration and more. EQ customisation and virtual remote control will be available in August this year.
