NETGEAR has launched its latest Wi-Fi 6E product, the Nighthawk RAXE300 Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E Router, which provides speeds up to 7.8Gbps while leveraging the new era of fast connectivity on the 6Ghz band, free of interference and congestion.
Dependence on Wi-Fi has soured since the start of the pandemic with many people relying on it to work, learn and socialise from home. Content streaming and online gaming has also increased as we spend more time at home.
Devices in these ultra-connected households are constantly battling for bandwidth on crowded Wi-Fi networks. However, NETGEAR’s Wi-Fi 6E offering helps to resolve these issues by adding the previously unavailable 6Ghz Wi-Fi spectrum that can be used as an express lane to connect more devices with faster speeds and reliability.
The new Nighthawk RAXE300 Tri-band Wi-Fi router provides a combined speed of 7.8Gbps along with the new 6Ghz band for customers’ Wi-Fi 6E devices and demanding applications. Featuring eight Wi-Fi streams, it provides Gigabit+ Wi-Fi speed throughout homes up to 2,500sqft.
The router’s six pre-optimised antennas provide strong Wi-fi signal, coverage and performance. It also features a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port to provide Gigabit+ internet connectivity by connecting to an internet modem or to connect on the LAN to a high bandwidth device such as shared network storage. Another five Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for wired connections to other home devices and IoT hubs.
Nighthawk RAXE300 Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E router will be available in the first quarter of 2022 for £349.99 / $399.99.
