Noveto has announced its flagship product, the N1 smart speaker, featuring the company’s proprietary SmartBeaming technology and built-in Alexa to provide immersive 3D binaural sound and personal interaction without headphones.
Ideal for the home office as well as office working, the N1 has a slim and sleek design with an intuitive, glass-fronted, circular LED display bringing interactions to life.
The N1 delivers a fundamentally different audio experience to traditional speakers or headphones. The SmartBeaming technology transmits ultrasound silently through the air, converging in small audible pockets just outside of the listener’s ears. The N1 also features smart facial tracking to follow the user’s head, ensuring that, as if wearing headphones, it still gives an immersive 3D stereo experience, while people nearby can barely hear a thing.
It is designed to deliver an immersive experience which breaks down a major barrier to remote-working – a lack of human connection. The experience has been created so that video-callers feel they are in the same room, while other people around can barely hear anything.
Although ideal for home or office working, the Noveto N1 also supports at-home wellness. Users can listen to podcasts or meditate to the sounds of nature with the N1’s SmartBeaming creating a personalised, cocooned experience which elevates the relaxation of meditation, music, casual entertainment, podcasts and sound therapy.
Noveto N1 production begins in December 2021 with Kickstarter backers receiving their devices shortly thereafter. It will also be on show at CES in Las Vegas in January 2022.
