High-end audio company, PMC has introduced a walnut veneer finish option to its fact signature line of loudspeakers.
The new finish was added as a result of customer feedback and in response to modern interior design and décor trends. Joining the flagship fenestria, which is also offered in walnut, the two-way fact.8 and three-way fact.12 signature models are available in either walnut, white silk, or metallic graphite to complement various décors and styles.
Taking inspiration from the fenestria design, the signature models further improve the performance of existing fact.8 and fact.12 models by using new crossovers, which are mounted on military-grade circuit boards. Using the same components as the fenestria, a great deal of attention was paid to the positioning of each component to minimise unwanted interference.
Set into the solid aluminium back panel, audiophile grade switching allows subtle tailoring of the bass and treble response of the speakers to create a perfect sound balance. Silver coated binding posts ensure connections to the amplifier and it is possible to bi/tri-wire or bi/tri-amp the speakers.
Both signature models feature the SONOMEX dome treble unit and the fact.12 model utilises a handmade 50mm dome midrange that incorporates design elements from the mid-range driver in fenestria.
