GIK Acoustics has expanded its bass trapping range with three panels designed to tackle uncontrolled low frequencies.
The lineup comprises the Classic, Amplitude and FlexRange Bass Trap Panels.
GIK Acoustics says it’s extended the range as most acoustic panels on the market aren’t thick enough to address bass below 100Hz.
The Classic Bass Trap Panel is a straightforward broadband bass absorber built around an eight-inch mineral wool core.
It’s said to offer absorption down to around 60Hz, as with the Amplitude Bass Trap Panel.
Lastly, the FlexRange Bass Trap Panel is designed to absorb down to around 50Hz, configurable in Full Range, Range Limiter or Scatter Plate mode with a built-in air gap.
All three aim to provide more effective control over bass build-up, standing waves and low-end smear.
More than 20 Camira Cara fabric options are available, alongside multiple sizes and options.
The range will be formally introduced to the market at US audio show AXPONA 2026.
