Following the big news that Sonos had launched its much-anticipated Alexa-controlled Sonos One speaker, Sanus has introduced the two first-to-market wireless speaker accessories for speaker.
Sonos formally unveiled its voice-controlled Sonos One speaker (think the PLAY:1 + Alexa) yesterday, and the launch has been followed by two accompanying accessories from Sanus.
First up is the 86.6 cm tall wireless speaker stand, providing Sonos One owners with flexibility in where they place the speaker in their home (at the recommended height for voice control), and as part of a wider surround sound setup. The manufacturer notes that the stand enables bass response to offer the same experience wherever placed in a room.
Tilt and swivel capable, Sanus’s wall mount option is installable on drywall, wood studs or concrete in the home.
The company’s InvisiGrip technology works to secure the placement of a speaker, without the need for a screw insert. Speaking on its benefits, Rick van Bommel, senior international marketing and product Manager, said: “It [InvisiGrip] securely wraps around the speaker and essentially disappears as it blends in with the speaker, making sure the beautiful aesthetic and brilliant acoustics of the Sonos One are preserved.”
InvisiGrip can also support the PLAY:1 and PLAY:3 speakers from Sonos.
To be released in early October, both products can be installed in 15 minutes and are and UL-certified. They will be available in black and white, and as either singles or pairs.
