Sonus faber announces Arena flagship CI loudspeaker

Sonus faber has launched Arena, a new flagship loudspeaker for its custom installation collection.

Having made its world debut last week at CEDIA Expo 2022, Arena combines the brand’s latest ‘Ci-Fi’ (custom install fidelity) technology with the refinement associated with Sonus faber’s artisans.

The company first entered the custom installation market in 2019 with the Palladio series of integrated home solutions and the knowledge gained enabled its acoustic and engineering experts to develop Arena, a huge step forward for home cinema innovation that merges in-wall installation with home customisation, to expand flexibility and user personalisation.

The handmade Arena range currently consists of the Arena 30, a 4-way LCR speaker equipped with a 38mm silk dome tweeter and 19mm supertweeter; the Arena 20, a 3.5-way speaker boasting the renowned voice of Sonus faber; and the Arena S15, a modular balanced subwoofer. The new collection will continue as an ongoing, live project with new solutions being added over time.

“The new family of speakers is the result of a relentless synergy between the company’s technology and design departments,” said Livio Cucuzza, Sonus faber’s chief of design and vice president of R&D. “From the very beginning, the goal was to ensure the natural sound characteristics that distinguish our products could be applied directly to the world of home theatre, and our team worked collaboratively to make that dream a reality.”

The Arena S15 is priced at £6,500, the Arena 20 is priced at £9,000, and the Arena 30 is priced at £14,000.
