Sony will add a 65-in model to its Bravia line up of XR 4K DHR full array LED TVs when it launches the X95J.
The model joins 75-in and 85-in displays and uses Sony’s trademarked Cognitive Processor XR that is claimed to make scenes more lifelike.
It also analyses sound position in the signal so the sound matches what is on the screen and upconverts any sound to 3D surround sound.
Like other Bravia XR models, the X95J includes Sony’s Bravia Core service that delivers a pre-loaded selection of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) premium and classic titles and an IMAX Enhanced collection. Bravia Core features Pure Stream technology, achieving near lossless UHD BD equivalent quality with streaming up to 80 Mbps.
The X95J TVs support multiple HDMI 2.1 features, such as 4K 120fps, VRR and ALLM in an effort to deliver smooth and responsive gameplay when connected to next-generation consoles.
