Stealth Acoustics to launch 3-way invisible speaker at CEDIA 2017

Stealth Acoustics has announced that it will be launching an 8-in, 3-way invisible architectural speaker, the LRx83, at CEDIA 2017 next month.

Built to offer a bass response down to a 40Hz, the LRx83 incorporates a 30mm midrange device, a 25mm tweeter and an 8-in high-power cone woofer.

The LRx83 has the same dimensions as Stealth’s LR8g and therefore can fit into any LR8 back box accessory. It is capable of handling over 300W of power, with constant voltage options available.

Stealth state that the speaker is designed to offer smooth performance in the mid and high regions as well as solid bass extension.

“The ‘X’ [in LRx83] stands for ‘Expert Grade’ and the LRx83 delivers the exceptional performance that integrators want in their important residential projects,” commented Steve Olszewski, vice president at Stealth Acoustics.

He added: “This 8in 3-way speaker is our best sounding speaker to date.”

The LRx83 can be coupled with Stealth’s newly introduced LRG-B30g dual 8-in invisible subwoofer to increase sub-bass extension down to 35Hz in installations.

Stealth Acoustics will exhibit at booth 1720 at CEDIA. This year’s show runs from 7 to 9 September, 2017 at the San Diego Convention Centre in California.
