The Silverback 1 is a slim A4-sized active speaker pair designed for wireless operation with the addition of the company’s ‘Stereo Hub’ WiSA transmitter and control centre.
Designed for on-wall or bookshelf operation, each two-way Silverback 1 active speaker marries a specially designed 5.5-in woofer and waveguided 1-in soft dome tweeter with twin 80W power amplifiers within a white or black satin cabinet, measuring 31 x 32.5 x 13.5 cm.
The Silverback 1 will work wirelessly with any WiSA-enabled device but is intended to partner with System Audio’s super compact Stereo Hub and remote control, which work together to transform system connectivity and performance options with Roon Ready, Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay 2, Bluetooth, DLNA UpNP and Spotify Connect built in, as well as USB Audio SP/DIF 24/192, HDMI ARC, 3 optical inputs, coax digital and 2 analogue inputs.
Stereo Hub is capable of delivering wireless audio up to 24/192 resolution from any source, including network players, PCs, CD players, games consoles, turntables and TVs.
Room correction and set up are made possible via System Audio’s ‘SA Cockpit’ app for both Android and iOS on Google Play and App Store.
The Silberback 1 is WiSA-enabled Dolby Atmos home cinema system with up to 8 channels of 24/96 resolution audio.
