Arendal Sound has revived its 1961 Series after a two-year hiatus.
The Nordic speaker brand brings back its entry-level, eight-model range of updated speakers following a rise in international demand.
The 1961 Series, a tribute to the construction of the Tromøy Bridge in Norway, comprises the 1961 Tower, Monitor, Centre, Bookshelf, Height, Surround, Subwoofer 1V and Subwoofer 1S.
The range employs trickle-down technology from Arendal’s higher-end 1723 Series, including waveguide tweeters and custom drivers, to deliver precise sound.
The speakers are enclosed in HDF cabinets and hand-painted in the brand’s signature matte Black and White finishes.
Their shared sound, look and feel means 1961 models can coordinate with other Arendal speaker set-ups.
