Epson adds to Epiqvision line up to ‘get more people using projectors every day’

Epson has added two new mini laser TV projectors (EF-21 and EF-22) to its “EpiqVision” line up.

The new projectors bring affordable big screen entertainment to the home, allowing up to 10 years of no-maintenance and hassle-free viewing for the family.

An alternative to traditional TV

Part of the Epiqvision range aiming to revolutionise home entertainment, the new compact projector models are easy to set up, have a screen size of up to 150 inches, come built-in with Google TV and two 5W speakers for alternative stand-alone use with Bluetooth.

The EF-21 comes in warm white or smoke ice green for a stylish addition to any interior, while the EF-22 is available in metallic black or blue with a stand that can be rotated for flexible display.

Epson’s 3LCD technology enables bright and vivid images with high white and colour light output. Both models have 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio to produce clearly defined shadows and deep blacks.

The Google TV facility built-in to both projector models brings over 400,000 movies and TV episodes together from apps and subscriptions, ensuring quick access and control around the home with the Google Assistant.

End users can also use Chromecast to cast entertainment apps from Android and iOS devices, Mac of Windows computer or Chromebook.

Easy set up

The EF-21 and EF-22 are easy to set up due to technologies such as automatic focus, keystone correction, obstacle avoidance and screen fit. They can be projected on a wall, ceiling or floor in any direction.

Brendan Hoare, product manager for home cinema projectors at Epson Europe, said: “We are on a mission to get more people using projectors every day in their homes, and these two projectors are going to really help this goal.

“With their sleek and sophisticated design, not only will they look great in any home, they are packed with so many features and incredibly easy to set up and use. With smart connectivity, and high-quality long-lasting laser light source, there’s never been a better time to consider replacing your TV.”
