Lumene has released a new projection screen using Fresnel lenses.
The French home cinema specialist introduces the Fresnel Movie Palace ALR fabric screen, boasting a 95% efficiency in ambient light absorption and diffusion.
With a 135-degree viewing angle and 98% colour fidelity, the screen is crafted with photolithography – multiple layers of holographic microstructures for control over light projection angles and directions.
The screen comprises seven specialised optical layers managing light diffusion and reducing unwanted reflections.
This multi-layer architecture blocks ambient light to create vivid images, deep blacks and vibrant colours.
Fresnel technology aims to direct the projector’s light while minimising stray reflections and light loss.
Its advanced optical structure is made up of concentric micro-lenses, producing a clear, bright and high-contrast image even in environments with ambient light.
The screen offers an expansive field of view to deliver high-quality visuals for viewers on the main axis, while maintaining rendition for those on the sides.
Movie Palace Ultra-Slim screens are distinguished by their 1.5cm bezels with no visible edges.
