Meridian Audio has announced will be showcasing its latest line up of products, including its UHD722 Ultra High Definition Audio Processor, at ISE 2018 next month.
Meridian will be showcasing its latest hi res products and newest partnerships at ISE, as well as hosting an education session on the first day of the show.
“We’ve listened to what integrators have told us, and we’re delighted to bring a great series of Meridian products to ISE 2018. These innovations underline how we share the same goals - transforming the way people experience sound,” said Katy Bradshaw, Meridian’s director of marketing, on the show.
A highlight on the Meridian stand will be its UHD722 Ultra High Definition Audio Processor, being shown for the first time at the show. The 4K switching product features Multichannel Meridian High Resolution (MMHR) output, enabling connection to existing processors, which results in an uplift in the audio system’s sound quality. Suited to providing a high resolution audio experiecne, the UHD722 features Meridian’s high resolution Upsampling and Apodising technologies to maximise performance from Blu-ray Disc, satellite/TV receivers and gaming consoles.
Another exclusive for ISE 2018 will be Meridian’s 210 Streamer, designed to bring Bluetooth, Apple Airplay and Spotify Connect to Meridian products, lining up against the manufacturer’s recently launched 271 Digital Theatre Controller and the 251 Powered Zone Controller.
The recently updated M6 Digital Active Loudspeaker will also be showcased, now offering “room-filling sound” with only a single loudspeaker thanks to a new “mono” mode. Both the left and right channels are summed, meaning installers don’t lose any of the information – enabled using Meridian’s mono algorithms.
As part of the Professional Development Programme at ISE 2018, Meridian’s education manager, Hugo Fitzjohn, will host a training session dedicated to “Streaming Hi-Res Audio in the Home” on Tuesday 6 February from 14:00 – 15:30pm in Room D201.
Meridian can be found at Stand 7 E210 at ISE 2018. Meridian technology will also power Barco’s demo room (Sound Room E107) during the show. This year’s ISE show runs from 6 to 9 February, 2018 at the RAI, Amsterdam.
