Sanus has introduced three Advanced Full-Motion Wall Mounts featuring the company’s new 4D + Shift technology, providing the option to raise and lower the screen post-installation.
The VSF817, VMF822 and VLF828 mounts cater for screen sizes from 19” up to 90” with a maximum weight of over 56kg, hitting the market after their debut at the EI Live! 2024 show in Farnborough, UK.
Each one features 4D manoeuvrability and tested Sanus features such as Virtual Axis, FluidMotion and ProSet.
Shift technology enables TVs that are already mounted to be raised and lowered by up to 200mm, either by vertical shift or, in the case of the VLF828 model, by twisting a handle found behind the screen.
Dean Carroll, international consumer sales director, said: “Our engineers have pulled out all the stops with these new models. The 4D plus Shift technology is a gamechanger for full motion TV mounts.”
“As many will have seen at recent trade shows, the simplicity of operation and plethora of useful features represents a significant improvement in TV mounting solutions. We know they are going to be well received by both installers and end-users alike.”
The VSF817 is the smallest of the three models and offers an extension of 43cm, accommodating screens from 19” to 43”. It houses a +/- 45 degree swivel and +5/-7 degree tilt option, allowing for a vertical movement of 100mm.
The VMF822 caters for screens between 32” and 65”, with the ability to shift by 150mm in the vertical plane. It provides a swivel of +/- 59 degrees and +5/-10-degree tilt capability, aided by a slim profile to mount the screen 1.9” from the wall.
The VLF828 is the largest of the new mounts with the ability to mount TVs from 42” to 90” just 2.4” from the wall, while retaining a 71cm extension and +/- 46 degrees of swivel and a +5/-15 degree tilt operation. Shift adjustment of up to 200mm can be made by twisting a handle behind the screen.
The mounts are designed for fit in ‘fifteen minutes’ and supported by the SteadySet feature to eliminate drifting and unwanted movement.
