With training being a fundamental aspect of trade support, AWE is widening its education offering by hosting some of CEDIA’s most popular training courses. AWE’s headquarters, Alexander House uniquely lends itself to CEDIA education, as it includes a stunning show apartment and Dolby Atmos home cinema room, which allows attendees to train within a real life integrated environment. Already the base for AWE’s award-winning Smart Home Academy, the facilities are perfectly suited for enhancing some of CEDIA’s training, in particular, the Home Cinema courses.
“AWE is acknowledged for setting the standard in the custom install industry for products, customer service, technical support and an exceptionally high level of training,†explains Stuart Tickle, managing director at AWE. “Alongside this, we fully support the works of CEDIA and are dedicated to helping further the accessibility of education to the CEDIA member base. It therefore made perfect sense for us to become the southern base for CEDIA education courses. Using the products and systems integrated throughout the building, we provide technology professionals with industry leading facilities to understand how to install the latest products safely, efficiently and professionally.â€
A range of courses including CEDIA’s popular Residential Networking and Smart Home Wiring workshops are scheduled to kick start a succession of education courses at Alexander House in 2015.
