CEDIA announces host for 2018 EMEA Awards ceremony

CEDIA has announced that British TV presenter and producer, Jason Bradbury, will host this year’s EMEA Awards celebrating the year’s finest achievements in the professional home technology industry.

Now in its thirteenth year, the 2018 edition of the CEDIA Awards for the EMEA region will take place at the British Museum, London on Thursday 27 September.

A 20-year veteran of the industry, Jason Bradbury is known for presenting the ‘The Gadget Show’ TV programme both in the UK and US. He has worked on hundreds of shows across various British TV channels (including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky).

A technology lover, Bradbury also dedicates time to creating products such as hoverboards and robots. He has written for a number of technology and computer magazines, as well as both fiction and non-fiction works.

Bradbury also brings to the role comic abilities honed during his time performing as part of a double act with British actor and comedian, David Walliams.

“Jason’s extensive knowledge and understanding of our expanding industry will make him an extremely fascinating host,” said Matt Nimmons, managing director of CEDIA EMEA. “He is also a natural performer and we’re delighted to have him on board for this year’s CEDIA Awards. It’s going to be a spectacular evening.”
