As part of its commitment to provide high-quality education and training, CEDIA has added two new courses to its education programme at ISE.
Powered by KNX, CEDIA’s education programme includes more than 30 training sessions across the four-day show and is organised into three tracks: Business Success, Emerging Trends, and Technical Excellence.
Taking place on Tuesday 11th February from 9.30am-12.30pm in room D302, Anthony Grimani, president of Performance Media Industries will be presenting the new course, titled: ‘The Science of Acoustical Absorbers and Diffusers: Selection and Placement’.
This session aims to teach attendees about the vast array of choices in absorption and diffusion techniques.
Presented by a renowned home theatre design expert, Grimani will show how there is a right type, quantity and placement of these materials in order to create the right listening environment for home cinemas.
The second announced course looks at, ‘The Future of Entertainment: Content, Distribution, and the Consumer’, which will take place on Wednesday 12th February from 4pm-5.30pm in room D202.
Presented by John Penney, chief strategy officer and business development executive at Twentieth Century Fox, the discussion will focus on the future of content, new forms of distribution, and global consumers entertainment and information needs.
