WyreStorm will unveil its new H2 line of UltraHD 4K matrix switchers and splitters over HDMI and HDBaseT—all  featuring HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 standard support—at CEDIA Expo 2015 (Booth
2019).
After getting its 4K feet wet earlier in the year with its first range of HDMI 4K splitters and 8x8 matrix switcher and HDBaseT 4K extenders and Class A HDBaseT 8x8 matrix, WyreStorm has dived right in with a comprehensive new range of HDBaseT and HDMI matrices and splitters – the H2. So named due to its support of HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 standards, the WyreStorm H2 range is compatible with the very latest 4K source devices requiring HDCP 2.2 encryption as well as the newly established HDMI 2.0 standard at 18Gb/s.

4K resolutions are supported at both 3840 (UHD) and 4096 (DCI) 2160 at 60Hz with chroma subsampling of up to 4:4:4 for HDMI models or 60Hz at 4:2:0 for HDBaseT up to 70m/230ft for compatibility with new 4K broadcast standards whatever method of distribution is chosen.
The H2 matrix family begins with fully-featured Pure HDMI’ models in 4, 6 and 8-way I/O variations within 1U chassis that offer full support of the HDMI 2.0 18Gb/s standard to pass full-bandwidth 4K content up to 60hz 4:4:4, with the latest encryption technology ensuring trouble-free negotiation between with 4K source devices requiring HDCP 2.2.
Flexible control options include local push button, IR remote, 3.5mm input to receive local IR commands out of line-of-sight, LAN or Serial control systems and a newly integrated Web UI, with source selection per output displayed in gold LED.
Similarly, the new H2 HDMI splitters follow suit with both 1:4 and 1:8 models offering full support for 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 sources at 18Gb/s to HDMI 2.0 standard and HDCP 2.2 compliance. Compact and wall mountable, the H2 splitters feature locking DC jacks with EDID settings and status indication on both models to help troubleshoot potential installation issues.
The latest evolution in WyreStorm’s long line of HDBaseT matrix solutions, HDBT-H2 models feature 2U 6 and 8-way I/O variations offering Class A HDBaseT technology for 5Play convergence of video, audio, two-way IR control, RS232, Ethernet and PoH technology remotely powering receivers at display zones, and a 1U 4-way matrix kit with 4K receivers included. All models support HDCP 2.2 content and new 4K broadcast standards of 60Hz 4:2:0 over HDBaseT with resolutions of both 3840 and 4096 2160p up to 70m/230ft, or 100m/328ft for 1080p@60Hz/48bit transmissions on 6 and 8-way models and 35m/115ft (4K) and 70m/230ft (1080p) on the 4-way matrix kit.
WyreStorm QuickSync technology for instantaneous switching between sources and mirrored HDMI outputs for the local zonal connection of displays, projectors or AVR are included on all models with 6 and 8-way models including S/PDIF audio breakout for ARC zones. Sharing control options with the HDMI-only models, HDBT-H2 includes local push button, IR remote, 3.5mm IR extension input, LAN or Serial control systems and an integrated Web UI, with input/output selection indicated in equally striking cool blue LED for units that look as good on display as they do in rack.
