Following on from the success of the inaugural CEDIA Tech Forum last year, CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has announced that it will be continuing with this winning format and hosting four events in the UK in 2015. Combining education and networking, the one-day session is a must attend event for home technology professionals.
Previously, CEDIA hosted regular Connect with CEDIA networking events in the evening. While proving popular with new, prospective and existing members, CEDIA has decided to amend the format to incorporate education and has extended the programme to run over a full day.
The CEDIA Tech Forum will include eight 90-minute manufacturer product-training sessions from CEDIA Trade Suppliers. Taking place in two separate rooms, two sessions will run simultaneously throughout the day between 9.30am and 5.30pm.

CEDIA has provided Trade Supplier members with the opportunity to host the training sessions at these events. The spaces have already been filled by manufacturers and distributors, including Aldous Systems, Armour, AWE, Cave, HDanywhere, Lutron, Merit Lilin and RTI. Details of the individual training sessions will be announced shortly.
The day will conclude with a Connect with CEDIA event in the evening, providing attendees with the opportunity to network with peers and CEDIA representatives. The Connect event will feature a State of the Industry’ discussion, which will allow both members and non-members to discuss key developments within the smart home industry, highlighting the introduction of mass market products and what effect this will have on the industry.
The confirmed locations for Tech Forum events in 2015 are as follows:
29th April 2015 – Bristol
27th May 2015 – London
25th June 2015 – Edinburgh
