IDS Lifestyle Technology teamed up with S.E.T Builders to deliver a five-bedroom dream home equipped with an end-to-end Crestron Home system.
The five-bedroom, new-build Arch House features a 5,000sqft footprint distributed over three floors, designed to suit the needs of adults and children alike with five bedrooms, a gym, a home office and a bespoke cinema room.
The owner required a modern, new-build home with integrated technology to simplify the way it works. The home was designed with family needs in mind, catering to teenage children with entertainment spaces.
Translating the customer’s desired benefits into the suitable technology, IDS specified a fully integrated Crestron system which incorporates lighting control, AV distribution, heating and cooling integration, security, W-Fi and the house’s network infrastructure.
IDS also supplied kit for the custom cinema room, providing a 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos surround sound with Sonance speakers, an Optoma projector, as well as Vicoustic panelling and Acoustiblok soundproofing.
Touch panels are provided on each floor for ease of access, providing the flexibility to change light levels and temperature via pre-sets accessed via the touch panels. The users can also access the alarm systems, check CCTV and adjust heating levels anywhere in the house.
