Intensive D-Tools training teaches global users how to harness the power of SIX 2013 software and maximize their workflow D-Tools Inc., the worldwide leader in system integration software, is pleased to announce its 2014 D-Tools System Integrator Training May 7–9, 2014, at the Rydges Kensington London. The three-day comprehensive, hands-on training will take integrators through the D-Tools project lifecycle, offering tips, best practices, and proven techniques to help them maximize their use of D-Tools SIX 2013, the lauded integrator software that enables residential and commercial integrators to streamline business processes and increase revenues while reducing the time and cost associated with the design, installation and integration of low-voltage electronic systems. “D-Tools SIX 2013 is a powerful tool, and it’s important that our 4,500+ users across the globe understand how to harness that power to grow their businesses,” says Adam Stone, President and CEO of D-Tools. “We are committed to helping users seek every bit of performance and functionality out of the D-Tools SIX software and these multi-day sessions are an ideal way for them to get the most out of their investment.” Ryan Brown, of Media Entertainment Design, a D-Tools training partner, will lead the three-day training event. Day one of the training will show users how to custom-configure the D-Tools software to their specific company; introduce tips and best practices; teach users how to build a product database; provide hands-on experience creating winning proposals; help users understand how to exploit the D-Tools reporting engine; and guide them through the process of managing revisions and change orders, which can be a nightmare without the use of D-Tools software. Day two is a deep dive into product documentation, with trainees experiencing hands-on creation of comprehensive D-Tools documents, including Microsoft Visio Line Diagrams, Floor Plans, Elevations, and Schematics. On the last day, D-Tools will take users through management processes and advanced skills, exploring one of the most popular segments of D-Tools training—customizing reports. The training will wrap with the introduction of D-Tool’s first native iOS application—Mobile Quote––which will enable integrators and sales people to specify products and generate documents and quotes from any jobsite in the world. Attendees will explore the intuitive Mobile Quote interface and leave knowing the process for integrating D-Tools with QuickBooks software to streamline the accounting processes for attached D-Tools projects.
