TVs have become slimmer and lighter for the desirable flush-with-the-wall look. The problem is that this seamless effect is always compromised by the need for power and AV connections behind the screen, which can protrude up to 50mm from the wall, preventing the TV from ever sitting flush. Habitech, a value-added distributor of home entertainment and automation products has found an answer.
Sync-box, the World’s first universal, fully recessed power and AV outlet is designed around a standard double gang back-box and faceplate, perfect for easy installation in new build or retrofit situations. Based around the standard euro module system, a range of power and AV connection units clip in with ease. All power and AV connections for your installation are fully recessed when in position and concealed by unique cover plate in black, white and silver, for a beautifully clean, stylish finish in the home. In fact wherever wall connections are required, Sync-box is a slimmer, neater more coordinated and integrated solution. Two Sync-box models are available.
Sync-box Pro
Predominantly for use when wiring a new build property, Sync-box Pro provides the ideal recessed TV socket, merging power and AV connections in one box, and with the cover plate fitted, provides an unobtrusive blend with décor prior to hardware installation.
Sync-box Custom
Supplied without the power module, Sync-box Custom will accommodate a wide range of custom connections according to installation requirements. It’s a great solution for the up and down’ scenario which involves the TV resting on an AV cupboard. Sync-box Custom allows the installer to run pre-made cables through recessed clip-in brush modules aligned with the recessed TV socket. Again, the cover plate hides the connections before hardware is positioned.
Recessed power outlet, recessed TV point or recessed power outlet/AV, it’s the installers call because the beautifully modular Sync-box is yours to adapt. Clip-in modules include Male Aerial. Female Aerial, HDMI CAT6, CAT5e, F Type, Brush.
