Smooth LED dimming control
Although encompassing a raft of energy saving benefits, LED technology can create challenges for installers in terms of control compatibility and smoothness and consistency of dimming. With over 50 years’ experience of dimming all kinds of light sources, Lutron has developed its seamless LED dimming control solution, which is being showcased at ISE 2014. With Lutron’s EcoSystem® 5-Series LED driver, it is now possible to have guaranteed LED interoperability with Lutron control systems. The LED driver provides an affordable solution for smooth, flicker-free dimming from 100% to 5%, is compliant with both DALI and Lutron’s Ecosystem® and works with most common LED downlights.
Lutron retrofit solution – maximising efficiencies
As the number of retrofit installations continues to rise, more installers are experiencing issues associated with re-wiring and fitting, that cost them time as well as money. With this in mind, it is not surprising that Lutron’s energy-saving Energi TriPakâ„¢ retrofit solution is proving so popular amongst installers. Quick and easy to install, Energi TriPak requires no programming and is a cost-effective solution for almost any single space application. In addition, load controllers are available to dim or switch the majority of load types, from an incandescent lamp to an EcoSystem® digital dimming ballast.
New innovative window treatments for ultimate integrated light control
As the popularity of high-specification residential accommodation increases, so does the demand for advanced light control solutions. Lutron’s silent motorised blinds are a smart choice to grow integrators’ business by providing the ultimate in integrated control for both natural and artificial light. There is a choice of both wired and wireless solutions that can meet any installation challenge or budget, enabling flexible daylight control. The newest innovations in this category are on the show at ISE, including Lutron’s new battery powered roller blind solution, Sivoia® QS Triathlon which works with Lutron Pico® wireless remote controls and can be seamlessly integrated into Lutron’s HomeWorks® QS total home solution. Sivoia QS Triathlon offers installers and end users reliability, power-efficiency and performance in one, affordable package. Additionally Lutron is showcasing a standalone Serena version that works equally with a Pico® wireless control and is the perfect solution for blinds in a single space. Furthermore, Lutron introduces the new Lutron Design Collections, a compilation of over 1,500 new fabrics and materials, supported by Design Collections Fabric App on iPad which can also be tested on Lutron’s stand.
