New artwork from the Royal Collection available for Samsung Frame TV

Samsung has launched a new gallery of artwork from the Royal Collection to its Art Store for The Frame TV.

This is the latest collection to be added to the Samsung Art Store, joining a library of over 1000 pieces of work from established and emerging artists.

The Frame TV is designed with interior décor in mind, with the screen displaying pieces of art when the TV is switched off to make it look like a picture frame to compliment the home.

Amongst many famous paintings, the Royal Collection includes the portrait of ‘The Royal Family in 1846’ by Franz Xaver Winterhalter, a significant painting showing Queen Victoria as both sovereign and mother. The painting currently hangs in the East Gallery of Buckingham Palace and is included in the collection added to the Samsung Art Store.

The Frame TV is currently available in 43, 55 and 65-in models. Owners of the TV can subscribe to the Art Store with a monthly payment of £3.99 or a one-off purchase of £14.99.
