Core Brands, a Nortek company and a leader in connected home entertainment, previewed the new high performance, affordably priced Panamax M4000-PRO power manager at the Core Brands booth #2511 at CEDIA Expo 2014 in the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. Designed for moderate to high-end A/V system installations, the new M4000-PRO comes equipped with trusted BlueBOLT technology, allowing users to remotely manage their power, energy and network from any web-enabled device. To reduce excess energy consumption, the power manager provides visibility on energy usage with cloud-based monitoring and the capability to program scheduled on/off commands. When connectivity is lost, the M4000-PRO can automatically reboot network equipment, reducing service calls and equipment issues. So, instead of rolling a truck every time there’s a problem with an installed system, users can cycle the power and reset the components with the touch of a button from anywhere in the world. “Today’s home entertainment systems get pretty complex,” John Benz, Core Brands Director of Power and Accessories, said today. “With the introduction of the M4000-PRO, Panamax is bringing the market a state-of-the-art power management resource at an affordable price.” With seven rear panel outlets and three controllable outlet banks, The M4000-PRO features industry-leading Panamax power protection, including Automatic Voltage Monitoring technology that disconnects components completely from the AC line when there’s an unsafe power condition. Level 3 Linear Filtering Technology is also included, along with a 12-volt trigger input, antenna/CATV protection, phone line/Ethernet protection and one front-mounted AC convenience outlet. www.panamax.com www.corebrands.com
